A lazy afternoon prompt me to get clean and dress up to check out some books in Fully Booked Ayala Branch some unexpected inconvenience get in the way of the plan. First when I go down from my place the electricity out of sudden was cut off. I end up getting stuck inside a pitch black elevator for good ol’ 15 minutes before the light came back. That was the longest 15 minutes in my existence all alone in a claustrophobic place with no hope of informing the staff that I was there. It was a lil’ scary too and felt like I was in a coffin deprived of oxygen.

After surviving that first ordeal I never thought that a series of unfortunate events was concocted for me this afternoon. The traffic cause lack of seats in jeepneys and fully occupied taxis. Just when I think it wouldn’t get any worse a heavy downpour poops out of nowhere.

So that concludes the cancellation of my plan for the afternoon. I was so pissed off and knew I needed to cool down before I go back home. That is when Banilad Town Center come into picture. For 10 months I have been living just across it I have never really explored the place. I only come here to get something to eat in Pan De Manila. So I explored it and found some interesting establishments like the Ballet School, a cool looking Pet Shop, a kids playground or some sort of school, an unknown Book Sale *filled with some old boring books* and they even have my personal favorite food chain Spice Fusion.

I end the exploration with a rewarding Froyo top with Kiwi and Cranberry and bathe it with strawberry syrup. Nom! Nom!
